Then replaced all the suspension bushings with poly bushings. Re worked the rear crossmember to make the camber adjustable. Raced it again for another season. Next winter started on making it run faster. All the usual bolt on mods. MSA headers, custom exhaust, L&P plenum, K&N filter, 240 throttle body, My adjustable cam gears, turbo injectors and Nistune. Still not enough to get me here. Ported and polished heads with Nismo cams. Still not enough, Should have done the bottom end at the same time…did in # 5 rod bearing. Pulled the engine and started a rebuild…totally outside the box. After two years of planning and working on it I got the pull I was looking for. Now it time to Shift: enjoy the ride. (for awhile) |
